Hwylfa Groes Cottage is located on the coast on the edge of the pretty village of Talybont, between the seaside resort of Barmouth (4 miles) and the historic castle town of Harlech (6 miles) in the Snowdonia National Park. There are lovely views from the cottage over the fields to the sea where spectacular sunsets can be seen, and within walking distance are the award winning blue flag beaches of the Cambrian coast and the Rhinog Mountains where the old Drover's Route crosses unspoilt nature reserves with spectacular views over the Mawddach Estuary and Cardigan Bay.
All within a 2 minute walk of the cottage the village has a pub, Italian restaurant & takeaway, a well stocked general stores, newsagent and off licence and a hair salon. Just 1 mile away the village of Dyffryn Ardudwy has a well stocked Spar shop and award winning Butchers, Post office and general stores with off-license, gifts and cards, petrol station, DIY store and 2 pubs.
